Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’ 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed border security, energy production, and international relations in a series of posts on July 21, 2025.
In his first post, Moran wrote on July 21: “A sovereign nation cannot survive when it fails to enforce the rule of law. In June, illegal crossings dropped 93%. Zero were released into our communities. Congress has a duty to defend the nation’s borders, and @HouseGOP is finally delivering on that promise.”
Later that day, he highlighted East Texas’s role in national energy production: “East Texas helps fuel America, and under @POTUS, we’re back on top. Record drilling Fewer burdensome regulations Pipeline expansion U.S. energy dominance is real, and it starts right here in TX-01.”
On the same date, Moran also noted his meeting with Ireland’s ambassador: “Honored to meet with Ambassador H.E. Geraldine Byrne Nason of Ireland. America and Ireland’s partnership remains steadfast. https://t.co/LRVGp2Ycbn”
Nathaniel Moran has served as the congressional representative for Texas’s 1st District since 2023 after succeeding Louie Gohmert. Born in Whitehouse, Texas in 1974, Moran continues to reside there at age 48. He holds both a BA and JD from Texas Tech University.
