Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared his views on business support, partisan politics, and international security concerns through a series of posts on social media.

On October 15, 2025, Moran recognized the contributions of local business organizations, stating: “Happy Texas Chamber of Commerce Day! Across America Chambers of Commerce play a vital role in supporting businesses, and here in East Texas they are the heartbeat of the business communities. Keep up the great work!”

The following day, he criticized members of the opposing party in the Senate. On October 16, 2025, he posted: “How many times will Senate Democrats vote against the American people? Democrats continue to prove they are ONLY playing political games.”

Addressing global security issues on October 17, 2025, Moran commented on reports involving espionage targeting a key U.S. ally: “Espionage against the British Parliament isn’t a ‘clerical error.’ It’s a warning. The CCP’s infiltration of one of our closest allies is alarming, and the decision to drop charges undermines the strength of the free world. China isn’t seeking peace. It’s eroding liberty.”

Nathaniel Moran began serving as U.S. Representative for Texas’s 1st District in 2023 after succeeding Louie Gohmert.[source] He secured his seat by defeating Jrmar Jefferson with over three-quarters of the vote during the 2022 general election.
