Congressman Nathaniel Moran, representing Texas’ 1st District since 2023, recently shared his views and achievements on social media. Born in Whitehouse, Texas in 1974, Moran graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA and a JD. He has been serving in Congress following the tenure of Louie Gohmert.

On July 1, 2025, Congressman Moran expressed his pride in recognizing the recipients of the Texas First Congressional Service Award. He highlighted the dedication of students to service and their communities by stating “I am proud to recognize the recipients of the Texas First Congressional Service Award! Each student awarded has demonstrated a strong commitment to service and their communities.”

The following day, July 2, Moran discussed potential tax implications without legislative intervention. He emphasized the importance of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) by stating “Without the OBBB, we face the largest tax hike in American history. That’s unacceptable.” He suggested that adopting this bill would lead to growth by lowering taxes and expanding opportunities for future generations.

Later that day, he further advocated for the OBBB’s benefits. Highlighting its impact on various issues such as tax relief and border security, Moran remarked “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers what Washington hasn’t in years: Real tax relief. Real border security. Real growth.” His call was to send it to President Biden’s desk for approval to advance America’s progress.

Nathaniel Moran is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’ 1st district. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Louie Gohmert in 2023.
