Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted on social media about local traditions and commemorated the life of Charlie Kirk.

On September 21, 2025, Moran shared his enthusiasm for a regional event: “Honoring one of my favorite traditions—the East Texas State Fair and Rodeo! The rodeo wraps up tonight, but the fair fun is going strong through next week. Don’t miss the rides, food, and great company that make it special.”

Later that day, Moran paid tribute to Charlie Kirk while visiting Phoenix: “Here in Phoenix to honor the life of Charlie Kirk—a devoted husband and father whose courage in faith and bold stand for Jesus Christ continue to inspire. His mission to raise up the next generation in truth and conviction will live on.”

In a subsequent post on September 21, he continued reflecting on Kirk’s influence: “Charlie spoke truth. Charlie pointed everyone around him to Christ. May we honor his legacy by living the same way.”

Nathaniel Moran has served as U.S. Representative for Texas’s 1st District since 2023 after replacing Louie Gohmert. He secured his seat by defeating Jrmar Jefferson in the 2022 general election with more than three-quarters of the vote.
