Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’ 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed topics ranging from American economic security to honoring military veterans in a series of posts on his official social media account.

On March 27, 2026, Moran voiced support for legislation aimed at protecting American companies abroad. He wrote, “American security is non-negotiable. I am proud to support @RepPfluger’s Defending American Property Abroad Act to protect U.S. companies from foreign governments that violate trade agreements and unlawfully seize American assets. These actions threaten jobs, economic stability,” highlighting concerns over international trade practices and their impact on the U.S. economy.

Later the same day, Moran commented on developments in transatlantic trade relations: “Strong step forward for U.S.–EU trade cooperation.

I appreciate the steady leadership of @USTradeRep Greer to negotiate these deals and to work with our European partners to keep them moving in the right direction.

As a member of the @WaysandMeansGOP and the Transatlantic”. His remarks referenced ongoing negotiations between the United States and European Union and acknowledged efforts by U.S. Trade Representative Greer.

On March 29, 2026, Moran recognized Vietnam Veterans Day with a tribute: “Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served during the Vietnam War.

On Vietnam Veterans Day, we remember the heroes who answered the call, the families who stood beside them, and the lasting impact of their service. Your bravery will never be”.

Nathaniel Moran has represented Texas’s 1st District since 2023 after defeating Jrmar Jefferson in 2022 by a wide margin—receiving over 78% of votes—and succeeding Louie Gohmert as congressman (https://ballotpedia.org/Nathaniel_Moran). Born in Whitehouse, Texas in 1974 and currently residing there at age 48, Moran holds both undergraduate and law degrees from Texas Tech University.
