Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed local events and community engagements through a series of social media posts.

On September 24, 2025, Moran commented on a violent incident in his region: “My prayers are with all those affected by today’s shooting. I’m grateful for the swift response of our law enforcement officers and first responders.”

Later that day, he expressed appreciation for a local business: “Thank you to Scot Industries for the informative tour. Their high-quality tubing and bar products support critical sectors like construction, transportation, and mining. It’s inspiring to see this level of innovation, precision, and growth happening right here in our region.”

On September 25, Moran highlighted his engagement with students at a university chapel service: “Honored to speak at the Chapel Service at LeTourneau University and spend time with such an inspiring group of students. It was a privilege to engage with so many bright, passionate individuals who are eager to grow in faith, leadership, and purpose. I look forward to seeing the”

Moran has represented Texas’s 1st congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Louie Gohmert. He won his seat in the U.S. Congress by defeating Jrmar Jefferson in the 2022 general election with more than three-quarters of the vote.
