Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed a range of issues on his social media account, including tax policy, foreign interference, and campus safety.

On September 9, 2025, Moran highlighted the impact of a recent tax policy initiative: “At its core, the Working Families Tax Cut is about liberty, prosperity, and certainty. A new @JobCreatorsUSA poll confirms it: 88% of small businesses are taking advantage of these tax cuts to expand, invest in equipment, and hire more workers—more proof that pro-growth policies https://t.co/YD6LtA9e74”.

The following day, September 10, Moran discussed concerns regarding foreign influence operations from China: “The CCP’s United Front is working overtime to undermine freedom and spread disinformation. In @committeeonccp, we heard directly from Taiwan’s Minister Chiu-Cheng Chiu on how Taiwan is standing strong against these threats and safeguarding liberty across the Strait. https://t.co/x0uKsqO0ej”.

Later that same day, he posted a message of support for individuals at Utah Valley University: “Praying for Charlie Kirk and everyone at Utah Valley University today as we await more details.”

Nathaniel Moran has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Louie Gohmert as representative for Texas’s 1st District. He was elected to office in 2022 by defeating Jrmar Jefferson with over 78% of the vote.
