Congressman Nathaniel Moran, representing Texas’ 1st District since 2023, recently shared his views on historical and current political issues through a series of tweets. Moran, who succeeded Louie Gohmert in Congress, offers reflections on the U.S. Constitution’s ratification anniversary, local economic discussions, and international security matters.

On June 21, 2025, Congressman Moran reflected on the historical significance of the U.S. Constitution’s ratification in 1788. He emphasized that “the promise isn’t self-sustaining” and highlighted the responsibility of each generation to protect liberty and limit government.

Later that day, Moran discussed a recent meeting with business leaders in East Texas. He described it as a “productive conversation” focused on job growth and expressed support for the House GOP’s version of the OBBB, which he believes will bolster small businesses and American industry.

In another tweet posted on June 22, 2025, Moran addressed national security concerns related to Iran’s nuclear program. He praised a recent decision by stating it was “necessary to protect America and its ally Israel from the clear and present danger presented by Iran.” He characterized this action as reflective of needed leadership during critical times.

Nathaniel Moran was born in Whitehouse, Texas in 1974 and still resides there today. A graduate of Texas Tech University with both a BA and JD degree, he continues to engage actively in legislative matters pertinent to his constituents.
