Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his official Twitter account highlighting themes of patriotism, community engagement, and recognition of national institutions.
On July 29, 2025, Moran expressed appreciation for the United States Military Academy by stating: “Duty, Honor, Country” isn’t just a motto. It’s a moral code rooted in our faith, tradition, and history. Grateful that the United States Military Academy remains firmly tied to the foundation of this great Republic. And, proud that its symbol will be affixed to unwavering truth.
Later that day, he marked NASA’s anniversary with a congratulatory note: Happy Birthday @NASA! Thank you for leading American space exploration over the past 67 years. Texans stand with you. This message underscored both NASA’s contributions to space exploration and its connection to Texas.
In another post from July 29th, Moran thanked constituents who attended a recent public meeting: Thank you to everyone who joined the Jefferson Town Meeting. I appreciated the chance to share a legislative update from Washington and hear your thoughts on the issues that matter most to our community.
Nathaniel Moran has served as U.S. Representative for Texas’s 1st District since replacing Louie Gohmert in 2023 and won his seat after defeating Jrmar Jefferson in the general election with over 78% of the vote. He continues to engage actively with both national institutions and local constituents as part of his role.
