On July 17, 2025, Moran announced the passage of new legislation with the message: “The HALT Fentanyl Act has been signed into law! @HouseGOP is ensuring that law enforcement has the tools needed to keep lethal drugs off our streets and protect Americans.”

Later that same day, he highlighted collaboration with a fellow representative by stating: “A colleague and a friend—@RepWesterman and I continue working together to support the communities of Texarkana!” The post emphasizes bipartisan cooperation on issues affecting constituents in East Texas.

Nathaniel Moran has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 1st District since replacing Louie Gohmert in 2023. He was born in Whitehouse, Texas in 1974 and continues to reside there. Moran earned both his undergraduate degree (BA) and Juris Doctor (JD) from Texas Tech University.
