Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who represents Texas’s 1st district in the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of statements on social media reflecting on national tragedies and legislative developments.

On September 10, 2025, Moran expressed sorrow regarding an unspecified loss: “Devastated. For Charlie and His Family. For America.”

The following day, marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, he wrote: “On September 11th, terrorists brought buildings down, cost countless lives, and tried to shatter the very ideals our great nation was built on. Nathaniel Moran has represented Texas’s 1st congressional district since replacing Louie Gohmert in 2023. He won his seat in the general election held in 2022 with a significant margin against Jrmar Jefferson—receiving more than three-quarters of the vote.
