Rep. Fallon Introduces Strategic Petroleum Reserve Security Assessment Act
Rep. Pat Fallon (TX-04) introduced the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Security Assessment Act today which would require the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to conduct an annual assessment of both physical and cybersecurity threats to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). Rep. Fallon was joined by Rep. Marc Veasey (TX-33) in introducing this bipartisan piece of legislation, the text of which can be found here.

Congressmen Pat Fallon (TX-04), Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) and Senators Todd Young (R-IN) and Jacky Rosen (D-NV) reintroduced yesterday the Ukraine Human Rights Policy Act of 2023. In the wake of new evidence of continued human rights violations and war crimes committed by Russian and Russia-aligned forces in Ukraine, this legislation would put in place a robust mechanism to hold the Russian Federation accountable.
