CITY OF STEPHENVILLE: Restaurant Relief Program

City of Stephenville issued the following announcement April 27.

Last week the Stephenville City Council approved several programs to help stimulate the local economy amid the COVID-19 crisis.  Under one of these programs, Stephenville’s 4,600 residential water customers will receive a voucher for $25.00 to use at local restaurants.  The vouchers will be mailed to residential water customers this week and will be good for a one-time use at a local restaurant. 

When will get our gift cards in the mail?

Postcards will be mailed the week of April 27, 2020.

Who will get a gift card?

All utility customers who have residential service within the City limits of Stephenville will received a gift card.  This does not include commercial, industrial or multi-family accounts.

What restaurants can we use them at?

The list will be released May 1,2020.

How long do we have to use them?

Gift cards expire June 30, 2020.

What happens if I don’t receive my gift card?

If you didn’t receive your gift card, please call 254-918-1220 to see if you qualify, and to arrange pick up.

Does the person redeeming the gift card have to be the one whose name is on the card?

No, but only one card can be redeemed per utility account.

When can restaurants begin submitting their cards for reimbursement?

Restaurants can begin submitting gift cards to the City on May 1, 2020.
