Football - JV will host Redwater tomorrow at 6:45. Varsity will play at Redwater on Friday at 7:30. Volleyball - varsity will host Sabine on Friday at 4:30.
Cross Country - JV/V will compete in the Atlanta XC Invitational on Saturday.
Upward Bound - will have an 11th & 12th grade combined meeting tomorrow, October 14, at 3:30 on our campus in room 51. Juniors will have a monthly meeting at NTCC on Monday, October 19, at 5:30 in the Instructional Annex room 106. Seniors will have a monthly meeting at NTCC on Monday, October 26, at 5:30 in the Instructional Annex room 106.
ASVAB - will be administered here next Wednesday, October 21. This test is free for all students. All juniors will take this test; any sophomores or seniors who want to take the ASVAB need to sign up outside of the counselor’s office between classes or at lunch.
PSAT 9th Grade - will be offered here on Wednesday, October 28. There are 25 spots available for freshmen. Those who signed up need to pay $20 in the Counselor’s office as soon as possible.
PSAT 10th/11th Grade - has been rescheduled. The test will be on Thursday, October 29. This test is free for juniors; the sophomores who signed up need to pay $20 in the Counselor’s office as soon as possible.
Yearbook Picture Day - is Tuesday, October 27, for all students.
Blood Drive - we will sponsor a blood drive this Monday, October 19, in the new gym lobby. See Ms. Loyd to sign up.
Cinder Block Art - Leave your mark on DHS! Students can buy a cinder block for $5 and decorate it. All proceeds go to Miracle on Tiger Drive and Stuco activities. See Laura Carter, Sanaa Fields, or Mrs. Sutton for details.
