98 gifted and talented students were taught in Camp County schools in the 2021-2022 school year

Test 06

Camp County schools enrolled 98 students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2021-2022 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is a 4.9% decrease from the previous school year.

Of the 2,358 students enrolled in Camp County schools, 4.2% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

Camp County enrolled the 91st lowest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
