Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 75.4% of Hubbard ISD schools' student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 52 white students enrolled in Hubbard ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 11.9% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Hubbard ISD schools welcomed 69 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 75.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Hubbard ISD roughly covers schools within Bowie County and has a main office in Dekalb.

Hubbard ISD was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 52 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
