Rep. Pat Fallon joins intelligence committee amid rising global threats

Upon his appointment to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Representative Pat Fallon of Texas's 4th District expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given by Speaker Johnson.

"I am deeply honored that Speaker Johnson has given me the opportunity to serve on the prestigious House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence," said Rep. Fallon.

He emphasized the growing threats to US national security from countries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea over the past four years. "With the increase in the number of threats posed to US national security in the past four years by adversaries such as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, it is essential that we marry information with decisive action," Rep. Fallon stated.

He further highlighted the importance of vigilance and homeland defense. "It is critical that we restore vigilance and prioritize the defense of our homeland," he continued. Rep. Fallon expressed eagerness to contribute meaningfully alongside other committee members: "I look forward to making meaningful security decisions and working with this talented group of individuals."
