CITY OF MT. PLEASANT: City of Mount Pleasant Cancels Annual Halloween Event

City of Mount Pleasant issued the following announcement.

The City of Mount Pleasant is canceling the Annual Halloween Event held at the Civic Center due to COVID-19 and concerns related to spreading the virus at indoor, "high touch" events.

Although the global pandemic puts a damper on the traditional ways the young and young at heart celebrate Halloween, CNN recently published an interesting and helpful article:

CNN also reminds us that Halloween falls on a Saturday night; there will be a full moon; and the clocks are move back for daylight saving time to give an extra hour of sleep! So be creative, and the City will hope to bring the Halloween festivities back in 2021.
