North Lamar High School athletes have thanked the Paris Regional Medical Center’s health care workers with signs of support and trays full of cookies.
After the recognition, the hospital gave 300 masks to the school district, which had participated in the #MaskUp operation.
Since the COVID‐19 pandemic broke out, those in the health care industry have battled the virus on the frontlines. Their objective is to protect the health and safety of frontline workers, health care employees and members of the community.
“A big part of that has been requiring masking of all our employees, patients and visitors, and encouraging the wearing of masks in public spaces throughout our community as one of the most effective ways to slow the spread of COVID‐19 until we have a vaccine,” PRMC Director of Marketing and Communications Savannah Abbott said in a press release. "We are proud to call you our partner in Making Communities Healthier, and we are thankful to be able to support your efforts with this donation."
