How many students were enrolled in Mount Pleasant ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 5,139 students enrolled in Mount Pleasant ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 3.1% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.1% of them were boys, and 48.9% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 71.2% of the Mount Pleasant ISD total enrollment.

Mount Pleasant ISD roughly covers schools within Titus County with its main office in Mount Pleasant.

Among the nine schools in Mount Pleasant ISD, Mount Pleasant High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,508 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
