Enrollment Analysis: American Indian students comprised 0.6% of Linden-Kildare CISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were four American Indian students enrolled in Linden-Kildare CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 33.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Linden-Kildare CISD schools welcomed 660 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Linden-Kildare CISD roughly covers schools within Cass County and has a main office in Linden.

Among the three schools in Linden-Kildare CISD schools, Linden Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of three students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
