Enrollment Analysis: multiracial students comprised 9.4% of Clarksville ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 49 multiracial students enrolled in Clarksville ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Clarksville ISD schools welcomed 522 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 9.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Clarksville ISD roughly covers schools within Red River County and has a main office in Clarksville.

Among the two schools in Clarksville ISD schools, Cheatham Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 27 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
